Cornerstone Occupational Therapy Consultants

provides community based rehabilitation services throughout Nova Scotia. We provide practical solutions for improving function in your daily activities, preventing injuries at home and in the work place, helping children cope with developmental challenges, or assisting people to continue to live independently in their homes.

Our occupational therapy services include:

The Milestones Division provides individual assessment for children and provides families and caregivers with useful treatment options to help children develop play skills, handwriting skills and maximize school readiness.

Cornerstone provides individualized attention to your functional concerns through in-home visits, on site at your office, or other community settings. We provide services throughout Nova Scotia to address the needs of the legal, insurance, and employment systems, as well as for families and caregivers, and to complement the services of other allied health professionals.

Cornerstone has been awarded a standing offer to provide services to employees of the Province of Nova Scotia. This includes ergonomics, and vocational consultation, workplace health and wellness such as accessibility and stress management education. We look forward to providing services for the next two years.
