Andrea Niepel

B.Sc.O.T. (C), O.T. Reg. (NS)

Andrea received her degree in occupational therapy from Dalhousie University, graduating with distinction in 2006. Prior to this she received her honors degree specializing in human biology from the University of Toronto. Andrea relocated to the Annapolis Valley in 2007. She currently works part time at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton, where she is responsible for providing a variety of services for the Veterans unit and inpatient and outpatient departments. She works part time as an associate with Cornerstone providing community based services in the Annapolis Valley. Andrea’s primary areas of interest include brain injury and geriatrics. Her passion is to provide community-based occupational therapy services and to work with clients and their families to optimize independence, safety in daily living and overall quality of life.

For extracurricular enjoyment Andrea loves working out, hiking, painting, drawing and spending time with her fiancé.
